Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to book a time in advance?

Nope! Just come during open hours.

How are trees priced?

Trees are priced by height. Rates are posted at the farm, and our staff is happy to help you find one that fits your budget.

Is Santa there every day?

Santa visits Saturdays and Sundays only, from 11 AM – 3 PM.  With the exception of Black Friday when Santa will be here from 11 AM – 3 PM.  Don’t forget your camera!

Do we have to pay extra for the Christmas activities?

Nope! All the festive fun - hot cocoa, marshmallows, Santa visits, bonfire, trailer rides, tree services - are included with your tree purchase.

Is there free parking?

Yes! We have free on-site parking.

Is it stroller-friendly?

We recommend rugged strollers or wagons for the grass and gravel. If it’s snowy or muddy, baby-wearing may be easier.

Can we reserve or pre-tag a tree?

We don’t offer pre-tagging. Trees are first-come, first-served, so come early in the season for the best selection!

Do you sell food or snacks?

We offer free hot cocoa, coffee, and marshmallows. On weekends, local food trucks often stop by. Check our socials or website for updates. Feel free to bring your own snacks or lunch!

What if it rains or snows?

We’re open in most weather. If conditions become unsafe, we’ll post updates on our social media pages and website.

Do you sell wreaths or decorations?

Yes! We offer beautiful handmade wreaths and fresh greenery while supplies last. Find them near the checkout.

Can we bring our dog?

Yes! Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please clean up after them.

Do you provide saws?

Yes, we provide handsaws. Please leave power tools at home.

Are there restrooms on site?

Yes, clean portable restrooms are available near the parking lot.

Do you sell pre-cut trees?

We’re mainly a cut-your-own farm, but we have a great selection of pre-cut trees near the barn, while supplies last.

Can we bring a sled?

Yes! We have a sledding hill. Bring your own or use one of our community sleds (just keep an eye on your kiddos!).

What kinds of trees do you offer?

We have several varieties with most being Fraser Fir.  Call Ed at (616) 826-9629 for any specific questions regarding tree types.

Can professional photographers use the farm for sessions?
